Time to take the Carpet Out

I just spent 2.5 hours ripping the old nasty shag carpet of the passenger area of the Midas Scout.

This picture is after I removed the Shifters. Carpet still in.







It's amazing what you find under the carpet. A receipt from 1983 where the previous owner purchased some wax.

Here's the Drivers side floor pan. Notice on the left side there's a hole. 














We the good news is the floor pans are shoot but everything else under the carpet is in good shape.

Yes it will take some work but the floors well be nice and new when I'm done.
